The Triangle

Shyam had been living with three other guys for the last couple of years. Shyam, Ghanshyam, Ghanghanshyam and Ghanghanghanshyam joined Funworld India Pvt Ltd along with many others a couple of years back. As the time passed and Shyam grown older, he felt that he is in love with Anumeha. She had also joined the same company along with Shyam. Shyam, Ghanshyam, Ghanghanshyam, Ghanghanghanshyam, Anumeha, Sunita and Anushka were good F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Their F.R.I.E.ND.ship had been an inspiration for many. Shyam shared his feelings with his roommates and they were very happy to know that 2 people from their own group are going to be together for their lifetime.

As the time passed, the infatuation turned into DEEP love. He became restless. After many sleepless nights he decided to express himself. First he thought a phone will do as he had the AIRTEL connection but then one of his friends suggested him to propose her directly. He said that eyes also work in such scenarios. Shyam bought a fresh refill of EYETONE on the same day so that his eyes work well on the D-Day.

Shyam had been looking for a chance to propose her. One day, she visited their place. Shyam asked her to come into the balcony. She was reluctant to come but she came finally because they were good F.R.I.E.N.D.S. and she did not want to turn down his best buddy. He had been waiting for her in the balcony impatiently. As soon as he saw her shadow he stared murmuring ‘Hanuman Chalisa’, the sinew of many boys in India.

She was facing him. As soon he opened his mouth, Ghanghanghanshyam called Anumeha. She followed immediately. Shyam was helpless. He was so angry with his roommate that unknowingly he hit his head with the pillar. He tried to talk to her a couple of times but she was not responding. Now, Shyam was confused if she will accept his proposal. He gave her many indications but they didn’t work.

One day, once of his friends, Samundar, told Shyam that something is going on between Ghanghanghanshyam and Anumeha. Now, Shyam started relating many incidents happened in the past. He reached to the conclusion that this might be true.

Anushka used to ask Shyam if anything is going on between him and Anumeha. One day, Shyam asked Anushka if there is an affair between Anumeha and Ghanghanghanshyam. Her response was positive.

Shyam was shattered for a moment but he decided to forget everything immediately. After all, they were F.R.I.E.N.D.S. The geometry of life finally changed from a triangle to a straight line, which needs only two points and any third point is redundant even if exists. Shyam understood this fact and moved away from this straight line.
